Clouds in a Blue Sky over the OceanI have my work PC, work laptop, android tablet and android phone. I want to be able to access many of my documents etc from anywhere (just in case). To that end I have been looking at cloud storage.

Lots of people use Dropbox which is a great service, I have also got SugarSync and I believe there’s a Windows offering too. One that many might miss though is Ubuntu One.

I found Ubuntu One through playing with Ubuntu on an old machine and was agreeably surprised to find that it worked on Windows. Guess I shouldn’t have been that surprised though. I have since discovered that there’s an Android app. Yippee.

With Ubuntu One you get 5GB of storage – yes 5GB – absolutely free. There’s upgrade option to get £20GB fr $2.99/month or $29.99/year and if you want to have the 20GB and sync your music then you pay $3.99/month or $39.99/year. Not bad at all.

What cloud storage do you use?
